So christmas money well spent the first arrivals have landed safely ,Stuart light tank platoon and Sherman 76mm platoon. very nice 5 tanks in each box ,also got some blister packs of Stuarts just in case..
Since jumping into this flames of war at now seems very late shock horror new rulebook on the horizon.
Well managed to get new copy through customer services as no local stockist thankfully it hasn't affected the build up .
I've started to mess around with the points system as a newbie starter asking questions and flames of war forum and located a 1500pts for 3rd Armoured Spearhead so going to run with this more due to cost perfect for box sets in fact.
So the next purchase will require a 75mm Sherman platoon box set and an armoured rifle platoon box set
these are the bulk purchases after that tee in some blister packs to complete the first part of the build.

The Beginning
Last year whilst at a war gaming show i managed to see first hand what can be do with the flames of war figures and tanks,so went home and started to look at some pictures of painted Flames of war models that others had done and thought perhaps one day .
Well that day came and what a problem it caused, which country, which part of the war, what size army to build ? really had to think hard would love to do German's mid to late war but don't own a spray gun yet and could never do German camouflage justice with a paint brush .British well love em or hate em early stuff in the desert that's next project !!!.
So Americans it is just as well cos i love them Stuarts and quickly chose mid to late war ..with all the decisions made just in time for Christmas it doesn't get better than that ,so quickly ordered the rulebook and cobra Normandy breakout supplement and get ready to start building my army ..
Next problem which division to use as a novice and i intend to play as much as possible i decided on the 3rd Armoured Division still haven't work out all the points yet just collecting and building but starting with the tank company 3rd armoured division
